C2 Carrollton’s devotion and commitment to each student’s success does not end with academic tutoring and the ACT, Digital SATs. In addition to helping students achieve great grades and excellent scores, we also help them prepare for college, beginning as early as freshman year in high school and throughout the college application process.
C2 Carrollton will work together to guide a path to the right college for your child. At the diagnostic conference, we set goals for grades, test scores, and activities to plan for the long term, something that most high school students struggle with. Our tutors and counselors then work together to make sure that our students are staying on track as they progress through high school with us.
Why College Prep Matters
College preparation is more than just filling out applications; it’s about laying the foundation for your future academic and professional endeavors. By investing time and effort into college prep, you can increase your chances of gaining acceptance to your dream school and securing financial aid opportunities.
Setting Clear Goals
Before diving into the college application process, take some time to reflect on your goals and aspirations. What do you hope to achieve through higher education? Are there specific fields of study or career paths that interest you? Setting clear objectives will guide your college prep journey and help you stay focused on what truly matters to you.
Researching Colleges
Not all colleges are created equal, and finding the right fit for your academic and personal needs is essential. Research various colleges and universities to understand their programs, campus culture, and admission requirements. Consider factors such as location, size, academic offerings, and extracurricular opportunities when narrowing down your list of potential schools.
Nine out of ten C2 Carrollton students get into their first- or second-choice school. This is all the more remarkable since most of our students are competing for spots at some of the nation’s most competitive schools, including Ivy League institutions, and other top 50 colleges and universities ranked by U.S. News and World Report.
